About

The Phosphor is the written side of the Jarlarex YouTube channel. It covers gaming news, what’s going on behind it, and the odd rabbit hole, across whatever in games is worth talking about.

Phosphor is the stuff that made old computer monitors glow green. It seemed like a good name for a site about games and the machines they run on, and I like the colour.

I try to link everything to where it came from. If something’s my opinion, you’ll be able to tell. If I couldn’t find something out, I’ll say so, and if I get something wrong, tell me and I’ll fix it. There’s more on that here.

There are no ads, tracking cookies or accounts on the site right now. If that changes, it’ll be clearly labelled and the privacy notice will change with it.

The Phosphor is run by Jarlarex, an individual based in Ireland. It’s independent, and it isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, Xbox, Sony, Rockstar Games, Take-Two or any other company it writes about.
